Mission Accomplished: George Corn, Canned.
Hamilton, MT—George H. Corn, the Ravalli County Attorney since 1991 was relieved from his duties as chief law enforcement officer by the will of the voters in the 2010 mid-term elections.
Ironically enough, Corn removed the ability of Ravalli County voters to petition their government on the 2008 growth policy initiative, and in 2007 and again in 2009 to recall him.
In 2010 Corns unconstitutional, unethical behavior caught up with him.
The FBI was aware of his tactics and control of justice in Ravalli County and apparently chose not to intervene. The will of the people did their job for them.
The Attorney General office threatened livelihood and residence if someone questioned Mr. Corn. The removal of George Corn was at a high cost to many individuals. Mr. Corn believed in victory counts: 13, 000 within the 20 years. We only have one.
It is hoped that Bill Fulbright, Corn’s successor will uphold his oath to uphold and protect the constitutions of The State of Montana and the United States. Law enforcement cannot abuse their power under the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution. Seizure of US citizens cannot continue in Ravalli County, Montana because it lies within the boundaries of the United States.
We the People of Ravalli County gave a very clear message to the governments in Hamilton, Ravalli County and Montana: we will not allow you to violate our rights, terrorize the citizens, or continue such abuse on our payroll. Learn from George Corn’s mistakes: we can “can” you too.
